Intermountain Health's St James Hospital in Butte, MT is seeking an RN Shift Lead I for part-time day shifts. This role provides leadership and clinical expertise on the unit, coordinating resources to match census and acuity with your shift.

You will supervise staff, respond to emergencies, and work with staffing to adjust numbers as census changes. BSN and MT RN license with BLS are required, with on-call potential and opportunities to advance patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program within 4 years unless 15 years acute care.
• Current State of Montana RN license.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direct patient care; support staff in problem solving.
• Respond to patient emergencies as lead or charge for disasters.
• Collaborate with staffing office to adjust numbers per census.
• Communicate census, staffing, admissions and discharges to oncoming nurse.
• Support unit management in productivity, staffing, and timekeeping.
