New Balance is seeking a Part-time Retail Team Lead in the Mosaic District, VA area. You will lead by example on the sales floor, drive results, and support store operations and guest service.

This role involves scheduling support, training, and helping hire top talent while upholding safety guidelines. The position requires 2 years of supervisory retail experience, a high school diploma, and a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while coaching associates.
• Be results driven in achieving store KPIs through training and development.
• May assist store manager in scheduling and floor moves.
• Deliver a great guest experience using the GUEST service model.
• Be operationally sound with opening/closing procedures and inventory control.
• Be involved in recruiting/interviewing/hiring top talent.
• Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures.
