Job summary

New Balance is seeking a part-time Retail Team Lead in Austin, TX to support store operations and lead by example on the sales floor. You will open/close the store, drive results, and deliver a world-class guest experience, guided by New Balance core competencies.

The role requires leadership ability, strong customer service, and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays. It emphasizes safety, training, and a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance; stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates
• Be results-driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of our associates
• Deliver a great guest experience utilizing our GUEST service model
• Opening/closing the store
• Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures
