Dollar Tree, Inc. in Pennsauken, New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver strong customer service, and support team development.

You will assist with opening and closing tasks, organize merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and ensure store standards are met. You will work closely with the Store Manager to supervise associates, maintain clean, organized space, manage inventory and payroll tasks, and uphold safety and company policies while

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and ability to read operative directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing store associates.
• Ensure safety and adherence to company policies.
• Protect assets and manage loss prevention.
