Dollar Tree, Inc. in Pennsauken, NJ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will support the Store Manager, supervise associates, and ensure store standards for merchandising, safety, and loss prevention. In this role you will train staff, assist with scheduling and payroll tasks, and uphold a positive, efficient shopping environment for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized store areas to company standards.
