Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending and repetitive lifting
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns from customers
• Organize merchandise transfer from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process directives including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean, and organized sales floor and stockroom
• Help train and develop Store Associates
• Enforce store policies and safety procedures
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
