Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Wayne & Holmes Co., Inc. in Rittman is seeking a part-time Retail Shift Supervisor to lead daily activities, supervise staff, and ensure a high level of customer service.

You will help open/close the store, manage cash handling, and support the Store and Assistant Manager. This hands-on role requires strong communication, basic math, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior retail or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, reading/writing, and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing the store, including handling keys and alarm codes.
• Supervise team members during shifts and enforce store policies.
• Handle cash duties: balance drawers, assign tills, and prepare deposits.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve concerns in a professional manner.
• Stock, merchandise, tag, and process donations.
• Ensure the store is clean and safe.
