Job summary

Michaels is hiring a Sales Manager at our Delray Beach store to lead a high-performing selling culture, oversee front-end and service operations, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are followed. You will coach associates to improve customer experience and sales results while managing day-to-day store operations.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership experience and involves leading a diverse team, handling POS operations, and promoting loyalty programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout transactions and customer support for smooth operations.
• Drive enrollment in the Loyalty Rewards Program to boost retention and repeat visits.
• Champion MCC/Extend services and protection plans for US customers.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in the Knit & Sew Shop and oversee the Cut Bar experience.
• Ensure efficient BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution for strong omni-channel service.
• Train and develop team through structured onboarding and ongoing coaching.
