Job summary

Council Bluffs Community School District is seeking a Part-Time Preschool Special Ed. Paraeducator at Edison Elementary to support classroom instruction and special education services in the morning schedule.

The position runs 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (4 hours per day). Pay ranges from $16.95 to $17.40 per hour, with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, IPERS retirement, personal and sick leave.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting is preferred.

It is REQUIRED that you have AT LEAST ONE (1) of the following to be qualified for this position.

• AA Degree, OR
• At least 48 credit hours of college courses, OR
• NCRC - National Career Readiness Certificate

We are also seeking:

• Experience working with young people in an educationsetting preferred.
• Ability to become CPR/First Aid certifiedis required. The District HR Departmentwill set this up.
