Job summary

BioLife Plasma Center in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a dedicated part-time donor screener/phlebotomy assistant. The role involves welcoming donors, performing screenings, and supporting plasma center operations with accuracy and care.

You will manage donor records, vitals, and compensation while contributing to continuous process improvements. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays—training is provided to start strong.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while focusing on their safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and implement approved changes.
• Support shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
