Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Stevens Point, WI is hiring for a part-time donor screener/phlebotomy support role. You will assist donors, collect plasma, and help maintain accurate records while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced center.

The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts typically 4–6 hours and 3+ days per week. Training is provided to start strong and support a rewarding patient-focused mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ years in customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors and record vital signs/finger sticks.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and implement center process improvements.
• Support donors across varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
