Job summary

VCA Animal Medical Center in Marysville is seeking a Part-time Client Service Representative to greet clients and their pets, answer calls, schedule appointments, process payments, and guide customers through our services with a friendly, professional demeanor.

You will explain fees, assist with product recommendations, maintain medical records, and help ensure a clean, efficient front desk. Prior experience in pet care or veterinary reception is a plus; we offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a client service representative preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle payments and explain fees.
• Comfort with scheduling and coordinating appointments.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital upkeep and maintaining a neat, clean facility.
