The University of Kansas Health System in Westwood is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative to join the ambulatory clinic team. You will greet patients, check in, answer calls, collect copays, and help coordinate MyChart and EMR appointment requests in a fast-paced setting.

This role works Mon-Thurs, 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., and requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, and strong customer service.

Competenze

• High School Graduate
• 1 or more years customer service or health care experience
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• High level of customer service skills focusing on problem resolution
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Mansioni

• Greet and check in patients at front desk.
• Answer calls and collect copays.
• Process MyChart and EMR appointment requests.
• Schedule follow-up activities and referrals.
• Prepare patient registrations and verify insurance.
