Kansas Health System in Westwood is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join the ambulatory clinic team. The role focuses on front desk operations, greeting patients, verifying demographics, scheduling, and processing MyChart/EMR requests to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The part-time position supports the care team with check-in/check-out, insurance verification, copay collection, and patient education on MyChart activation.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years customer service or health care experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

Mansioni

• Pre-Visit Scheduling: Schedule internal and external referrals.
• Schedules in-person appointments, telehealth visits, surgeries, procedures and/or ancillary services using Epic Cadence decision trees.
• Responsible for registration of patient during scheduling: entering demographics, insurance verification, MSPQ, documentation, referrals and appointments.
• Collects copays, coinsurance, and deductibles per the patient estimate and processes payments.
