Job summary

CCS Medical seeks a Part-Time Customer Service Representative in Roanoke, VA for remote work with in-office training. You will support pharmacy order processing, resolve patient issues, validate documentation, and assist with insurance details to ensure accurate orders.

Responsibilities include handling calls and emails, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with physicians, referral sources, and pharmacy staff while upholding privacy and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in health care insurance verification, order processing, call center customer service.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and Microsoft products.
• Knowledge of billing, payer requirements, and privacy standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process patient orders and update demographics; explain benefits and obtain consent.
• Maintain patient profiles, enrollments, and support workflow per procedures.
• Navigate iPIMS, Parachute Health, email, and queues to document and complete work.
• Obtain required patient consents in line with payer rules and privacy standards.
• Resolve queued issues to ensure timely processing and service delivery.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls; explain insurance and drive CSAT.
• Maintain knowledge of core product lines to support orders and education.
• Build relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.
• Follow HIPAA and privacy rules; ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Maintain attendance and flexibility, including possible evenings or weekends.
