Job summary

CCS Medical is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a part-time and remote-friendly role. You will support accurate pharmacy order processing, resolve patient issues, and assist with insurance coverage inquiries, working closely with patients, physicians, and internal teams.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of healthcare service experience. Training occurs in Roanoke, VA, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in health care insurance verification, order processing, or call center customer service preferred.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems, digital platforms, and Microsoft products.
• Basic knowledge of billing procedures, insurance reimbursement processes, payer requirements, and HCPC codes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, organization, multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process patient orders and update demographics, explain benefits, obtain consent, and communicate order status.
• Maintain patient profiles and support enrollments following standard procedures.
• Navigate iPIMS, Parachute Health, email, and To-Do queues to ensure accurate documentation and workflow completion.
• Obtain and validate required patient consents in line with privacy standards.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and emails, resolving issues and driving customer satisfaction.
• Build relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal teams to support order processing.
