Job summary

CCS Medical, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a part-time remote role in the patient-centered care team.

You will handle inbound/outbound calls, resolve order issues, verify information, and assist patients with understanding insurance coverage and status. Training occurs in-office for the first month at the Clearwater, FL location, with ongoing opportunities for flexible scheduling, paid holidays, and competitive pay for a patient-focused environment committed to quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in health care insurance verification, order processing, or call center customer service.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and Microsoft products.
• Basic knowledge of billing procedures and payer requirements preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, organization, multitasking, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients and internal stakeholders.
• Must live in Clearwater area, as training is conducted in office.

Responsibilities

• Process patient orders, update demographics, explain benefit details, obtain consent and communicate order status.
• Maintain patient profiles, manage enrollments, and support basic workflows.
• Navigate iPIMS, Parachute Health, email, and To-Do queues to support documentation and workflow.
• Obtain and validate required patient consents in line with privacy standards.
• Handle inbound/outbound patient service interactions, including insurance explanations and payment processing.
• Build professional relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.
• Adhere to Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and private insurance regulations.
