Job summary

CCS Medical is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to support pharmacy order processing from our Roanoke, VA and Clearwater, FL offices. The role requires in-office training during the first month, with subsequent onsite work.

You will handle patient calls, verify insurance details, process orders, and maintain accurate patient records while upholding HIPAA and payer guidelines. A supportive team environment and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in health care insurance verification, order processing, call center customer service role preferred.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems, digital platforms/databases and Microsoft products.
• Basic knowledge of billing procedures, insurance reimbursement processes, government payer requirements, private insurance requirements, and HCPC codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process patient orders including demographics, benefit details, consent, status updates, and payment processing.
• Maintain patient profiles, enrollments, and basic workflow in line with payer requirements.
• Navigate iPIMS, Parachute Health, email, To-Do queues, and other platforms for accurate documentation.
• Obtain and validate patient consents in accordance with privacy standards and procedures.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, resolve issues, and drive timely queue resolution.
