Advocate Health in Illinois seeks a part-time Revenue Cycle/Registration associate to support patient check-in, insurance verification, and co-pay collection. You will help create the initial electronic health record and ensure patient information is accurate and confidential.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and knowledge of EPIC EMR. Shifts are 8:30 am–5:00 pm or 10:30 am–7:00 pm, about 20 hours weekly, with potential to pick up additional shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, Medicare/Medicaid concepts, and HIPAA.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Register and check in patients; verify demographics and insurance.
• Discuss and collect co-pays; ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Explain insurance coverage and refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Assist with scheduling, cancellations, and patient communication.
• Maintain accurate EHR information and manage patient payment processes.
