Advocate Health Care is seeking a part-time Revenue Cycle Clerk in Vernon Hills to support patient check-in and billing activities. You will create initial electronic records, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and guide patients through procedures with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High School Graduate.
• Experience not required; strong customer service mindset preferred.

Mansioni

• Create the initial electronic health record used by the care team.
• Gather and verify patient demographics, insurance and guarantor information.
• Discuss and collect co-pays and out-of-pocket responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Explain insurance coverage to patients and refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate rescheduling or recalls as needed.
• Provide clear guidance to patients on arrival, preparations, and directions to the facility.
