Responsibilities

• Patient throughput: collect and provide required information to third party payers for reimbursement in outpatient settings.
• Accurately schedule follow-up physician appointments in the scheduling system.
• Insurance: enter insurance data correctly to ensure payable accounts.
• Complex appointment scheduling: schedule time-sensitive appointments using Epic.
• Resource/QA support across outpatient departments and cross-train as needed.
• Customer service: uphold service excellence per hospital standards.
• Template management: maintain Epic scheduling templates for multiple locations.
• Performs other duties as assigned and updates training materials.
