Job summary

The specialist will ensure high standards of patient service, train staff on templates, and assist in process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, preferably in hospital/physician office.
• Knowledge of registration, scheduling, and medical insurance eligibility requirements.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to educate and advocate for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient follow-up appointments in the appropriate system.
• Enter insurance information and verify eligibility to ensure reimbursement.
• Coordinate complex appointment scheduling and manage Epic templates.
• Support QA and cross-department coverage to maintain operations.
• Provide service excellence per system standards.
