Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the Libertyville, IL area. Shift is 6:30pm–7:00am with rotating weekends/holidays, 24 hours per week. BLS for Healthcare Providers and Nurse Aide in good standing are required; GED/HSED or HS diploma required.

The role supports RNs with patient care, performs routine documentation in EMR, and participates in admissions/discharges under supervision. Physical requirements apply, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated by State Registry where you practice.
• Education: GED or HS diploma (GED/HSED or High School Diploma).

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Documents vital signs, intake/output, weights, and other data in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Ensure call lights are answered promptly and assist with patient needs.
