• BLS certification to be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with state registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care and document vital signs in EMR.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Perform rounds, communicate observations to RN, assist with transports.
• Support nutrition and skin care; manage TED hose and devices.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care tests as directed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and PPE.
• Coordinate tests and treatments and manage supplies in EMR.
• Handle calls, paging, and equipment issues.
• Prepare chart forms for admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Maintain positive relations and age-appropriate patient care.
• Demonstrate growth and development knowledge for patient care.
