Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a night shift. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with every-other weekend requirements and rotating holidays.

You will support RN daily care, document in EMR, and assist with admissions, transfers, and patient comfort. A GED/HSED or high school diploma is required, and BLS/Nurse Aide certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills for EMR documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, ambulation).
• Record vitals and I&O; document in EMR accurately.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, discharges and room setup.
• Collect specimens and assist with basic nursing tasks as directed.
