Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support the RN with daily patient care on a day shift. The position is 24 hours per week with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Compensation ranges from $20.80 to $31.20 per hour, with standard hospital benefits. Responsibilities include assisting with daily care, vital signs reporting in EMR, admissions/discharges under RN direction, specimen collection, and maintaining infection control

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Certification Addendum applies to hospital requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily patient care under RN supervision.
• Take and document vitals and I&O in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient concerns to RN.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge under supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Handle errands, stocking, and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with patient positioning and care to maintain skin integrity.
• Follow infection prevention policies and proper PPE.
