Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Libertyville is seeking a Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts (6:30 pm–7:00 am) on Telemetry. You will rotate weekends/holidays and support RNs with daily patient care, vital signs, and documentation in the EMR.

This role requires BLS, a GED/HSED or high school diploma, and strong communication. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, patient transfers, and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• GED or HSED or high school diploma required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Measures and documents vitals, intake/output, daily weights, and patient data.
• Documents accurately in the EMR and communicates observations to the RN.
