Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. The role includes 24 hours per week with 2 twelve-hour shifts (6:30 am–7:00 pm) and a rotating weekend/holiday schedule.

BLS certification and Nurse Aide in good standing are required, along with a GED/HSED or high school diploma. Responsibilities include patient care under RN supervision and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Certification Addendum.
• Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF or others).

Responsabilités

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents blood pressures, TPRs, I&O, daily weights, and other patient data in EMR.
• Performs rounding under RN direction and communicates observations and needs to RN.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge process under supervision of RN.
• Collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintains stock for nursing area and cleans equipment and work areas.
• Performs patient positioning and transferring duties with proper technique and assistive devices.
