Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activities, ambulation.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, weights and patient data.
• Document accurately in EMR and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge under supervision.
• Maintain patient call lights and respond promptly.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintain nursing area stock and clean equipment.
• Assist with positioning, transfers and nutrition-related tasks following RN direction.
