Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a full-time night-shift role (0.9 FTE), every other weekend including holidays. You will support the RN with daily patient care, document vitals in EMR, and help with admissions and transfers to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications include BLS within 45 days and Nurse Aide in good standing. GED or HS diploma required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS for Healthcare Providers within 45 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated by State Registry.
• GED or HS diploma completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Document vitals and clinical data in EMR as requested.
• Perform patient rounds and report observations to RN promptly.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge tasks under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient environment and stock nursing supplies.
