Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Admitting Representative to verify demographics, collect insurance details, and assign medical records for accurate billing and clinical information. The role requires precise data entry and strong customer service in a hospital setting.

The position is part-time with a varied night-shift schedule, three weekends per month, and rotating holidays. Training and support are provided; compliance with all regulations is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years in a medical setting or customer service with data entry.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain required signatures on consents and insurance forms.
• Enter data and document incomplete admissions/registrations.
• Notify patients of insurance coverage issues and co-pays.
• Review orders for completeness and ensure necessary information is listed.
