Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Hospital Admissions Representative to gather demographic and insurance information, assign records, and ensure accurate billing. The role includes handling pre-certification and deposits while maintaining excellent patient service.

A part-time night-shift schedule applies, with weekends and rotating holidays. Requires high school diploma and 0–2 years in healthcare or customer service, plus BLS certification or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of medical or customer service experience with data entry.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to obtain AVADE training within 30 days from start date.

Responsibilities

• Verify demographic information, insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Assign correct medical record and account number for accurate billing.
• Notifies patients and staff of insurance coverage issues and copays.
• Perform pre-certification, credit referral or deposit collection and document in system.
• Maintain multiple computer systems and provide courteous service.
