Guidehouse seeks an Admitting Representative to verify patient demographics, insurance benefits, and eligibility. You will assign the correct medical record and account number, supporting accurate billing and clinical information.

The role is part-time with a varied night shift, involving weekends and rotating holidays; schedule may adjust with census. 2 years of ED admitting experience and strong data-entry skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years experience in a medical setting or heavy customer service environment with data entry and insurance knowledge.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to obtain AVADE training within 30 days from start date.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain signatures on legal consents and insurance forms.
• Enter data and obtain pre-certification, referral or authorization numbers; document registrations.
• Notify patients of insurance issues, co-pays, deductibles, or deposits and update records.
• Review physician orders for completeness and ensure all required information is listed.
