Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Admitting Representative for part-time, night-shift coverage. You will collect demographic and financial information, verify insurance benefits, and assign medical records for accurate billing. Position requires attention to detail and strong data-entry skills.

The role includes pre-certifications, communicating with patients and staff, and maintaining compliance with hospital and legal requirements. Hospital experience and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0-2 years in a medical setting or related customer service with data entry.
• Ability to obtain AVADE training within 30 days of start date.
• Follows safety regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain required signatures on consents and forms.
• Enter data and update patient files with insurance details and authorizations.
• Notify patients about coverage issues and co-pays.
• Review orders for completeness and ensure required information is listed.
• Maintain multiple computer systems and provide timely shift duties.
