Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Two years general office experience is preferred.
• One year customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous transportation experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative/clerical tasks including filing, data entry, imaging, answering phones, and mail distribution.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers via phone, email, and fax with inquiries including tracing shipments and rate quotes.
• Enter freight shipment information, status updates, and generate/correct freight bills.
• Schedule pickups and delivery appointments; review Hours-of-Service logs for accuracy.
• Coordinate with sales, operations and service centers to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
