Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with public school students using the LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate actively participates in a local church, communicates effectively, and demonstrates caring and perceptive teaching for children.

Responsibilities include completing LifeWise certifications, planning lessons, maintaining attendance and roster records, and fostering a redemptive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters; provide information to director or school officials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, engaging classroom environment and manage classroom procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and families; promote LifeWise's mission.
