Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will be an active church member with strong communication skills and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching children.

Responsibilities include completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification, delivering LifeWise curriculum, maintaining accurate records, and engaging with school communities to support students' well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters as needed.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage supplies within budget.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise's religious mission.
