Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms using the LifeWise curriculum. The candidate should be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

The role includes completing training, teaching LifeWise classes, maintaining records, and promoting the program within the community, all while adhering to our faith-based standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• A mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters, and prepare materials for substitutes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director about schedules and student well-being.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in duties and interactions.
