Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share gospel insights with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church, demonstrates excellent communication, and loves teaching children with a caring, perceptive demeanor.

The role requires completing training, teaching LifeWise classes, keeping records, and engaging with the community while upholding LifeWise beliefs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and participate in annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and provide engaging, redemptive instruction.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters, including health concerns and permissions.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage supplies as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director regularly.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
