Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel with public school students using the LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with students and staff in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities include completing training, teaching LifeWise classes, maintaining attendance and records, and staying updated on policy and curriculum.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training: LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days and participate in annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes: use the LifeWise curriculum to plan, teach, and engage students.
• Maintain Records: take attendance and keep accurate class rosters and permissions.
• Maintain the Classroom: keep a clean, organized space and manage supplies.
• Communicate: act as LifeWise ambassador and maintain dialogue with school staff and volunteers.
