Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms. Ideal candidates are active church participants with strong communication and caring, perceptive teaching abilities. A minimum of two years of classroom teaching in school or church settings is required.

Responsibilities include training, implementing the LifeWise curriculum, maintaining class records, and fostering a supportive classroom environment while aligning with LifeWise beliefs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure redemptive discipline and engagement.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director, sharing updates and outcomes.
