Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting with public school students, both churched and unchurched. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church, communicates effectively, and cares for students with perceptive, relational teaching approaches.

The role requires completion of the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days, ongoing training, and a commitment to LifeWise policies and mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map out customization.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters; prepare substitute materials.
• Communicate with program director and school personnel; update on schedule changes.
