Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting using the LifeWise curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be an active church member with strong communication and interpersonal skills, a caring and perceptive approach, and proficiency in teaching children. Training and certification are required within 30 days of start, with ongoing participation in LifeWise events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters and prepare substitute materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
