Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Dayton, OH is seeking an Ice Cream Specialist for part-time work up to 25 hours per week, with 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. The role focuses on hand-dipped cones, shakes, malts, and high-quality guest service.

As a team member you will follow UDF's Hi Five Guest Experience, handle POS and cash, stock and maintain clean, safe work areas, and adhere to all policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand English well enough to communicate with customers.
• Ability to operate the POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and handle items up to 21 pounds in a dip cabinet.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures and maintain store equipment and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience with a warm, authentic greeting and ensure guests leave satisfied.
• Prepare DipSide items: shakes, malts, cups/cones of ice cream/yogurt, sundaes, sodas, and hand-packed containers.
• Accurately operate POS system and gas console, handling transactions and payments.
• Stock shelves, dip cabinet, and keep the store clean and organized.
• Maintain awareness of safety and follow procedures to deter theft and ensure adherence to policies.
• Complete time records and relevant customer documentation as required.
