Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking an Ice Cream Specialist in Fairborn, OH. This part-time position (25 hours or less per week) may include 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Pay range is $11.50–$13.50 per hour, with a minimum age of 16.

Qualifications

Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate with customers.
Ability to see store equipment and read price books.
Ability to operate all store equipment.
Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in the dip cabinets.
Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, and make change.

Responsibilities

Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly and ensure the store is ready for Guests.
Prepare shakes, malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
Operate the POS system and gas console, register transactions and handle payments.
Stock shelves, maintain dip cabinets and freezers, rotate stock and check dates.
Maintain store cleanliness and monitor equipment temperatures.
Complete time records and Customer First Document accurately.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
