Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a part-time Ice Cream Specialist in Dayton, OH. You will greet guests, prepare hand-dipped ice cream treats, and operate the POS and gas console. The role requires stocking, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Hours are up to 25 per week, with 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts possible. Must be at least 16 years old. Pay ranges from $11.50 to $13.50 per hour, depending on experience and shift. Join a team focused on friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate the POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps and make change.
• Ability to read and understand price books and identify dates.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience and greet Guests warmly.
• Prepare shakes, cones, sundaes, cups and other hand-dipped items.
• Operate POS and gas console accurately and securely.
• Keep shelves, freezers and dip cabinets stocked and presentable.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness and organization.
• Complete time records and required documents.
