Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share gospel in classrooms with both churched and unchurched students. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with excellent communication, caring nature, and strong teaching skills.

The role includes completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days, attending annual LifeWise Summit, and staying current with trainings.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the "What We Believe" section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer
• Cultivate an organized, encouraging classroom environment
• Maintain attendance records and rosters as needed
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers; promote LifeWise's religious mission
