Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in classrooms with both churched and unchurched students. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church, demonstrates strong communication skills, and applies a caring, perceptive approach to teaching children.

Responsibilities include completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days, teaching LifeWise Classes with the provided curriculum, and maintaining accurate class records while building

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training and Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization.
• Invest in relationships with students and maintain a redemptive classroom environment.
• Maintain attendance, rosters, and health information as needed for each class.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director as required.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in duties and interactions, aligned with core values.
