Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise teacher to share gospel with students in public schools using LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, and proficient in teaching children.

You will complete training, certify within 30 days, and engage in ongoing church and school outreach while maintaining records and building relationships with volunteers.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize lessons
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly
• Maintain organized, redemptive classroom environment and follow LifeWise policies
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters; prepare substitute information as needed
• Communicate with program director and school personnel; promote LifeWise religious mission
