Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a passionate teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to both churched and unchurched students using LifeWise materials.

The role requires completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, ongoing training, and participation in teachers' lounges or Meet-Ups.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active church participation and commitment to LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Local church involvement aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map out curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance records and rosters, coordinating with school officials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and procure supplies as directed by the program director.
• Communicate with LifeWise staff and school personnel; promote LifeWise's mission in all duties.
